Minister Karanikolov’s statements made it clear that once the law was adopted, the state would not stop taking measures to highlight the fuel sector. “The proposal of the Ministry of Economy is for the violation of sites that are registered under this law and sites that are not registered – to be banned for 3 years for this site to carry out that activity. So, even if someone has decided to transfer the property, they will not be able to use that site for the next three years for the activity, namely delivery, storage and production oil and petroleum products. This will create effective controls, “said Emil Karanikolov, quoted by Focus News. Minister Karanikolov also reminded that this law was adopted a year ago and has caused tension in the sector, after discussions with stakeholders, it was agreed to amend certain texts.

Karanikolov said that among the leading topics of debate, after sending the draft law to parliament, there would be requirements for new registrations.
