{"id":5529,"date":"2020-06-11T10:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-11T07:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/v-gas.bg\/2019-annual-report-from-the-european-lpg-association\/"},"modified":"2020-06-11T10:30:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-11T07:30:00","slug":"2019-annual-report-from-the-european-lpg-association","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v-gas.bg\/en\/2019-annual-report-from-the-european-lpg-association\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 Annual Report from the European LPG Association"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Every year, the European LPG Association (<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liquidgaseurope.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Liquid Gas Europe<\/em><\/a><em>) <\/em><em>publishes a report on its activities for the past year. As members of the Association, we would like to share with you its key achievements for 2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In early 2019, the Association announced its position on its vision for long-term greenhouse gas emissions reductions in the EU in the document <a href=\"https:\/\/v-gas.bg\/liquid-gas-europes-position-paper-on-the-strategy-for-greenhouse-gas-emissions-reductions\/\">Liquid Gas Europe\u2019s Position Paper on the Strategy for long-term EU greenhouse gas emissions reductions.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Last year also saw the launch of the Truck of the Future project. Behind it is a working group from Liquid Gas Europe, which is involved in research into the use of new technologies to reduce the risks on the road involving trucks. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In September, the Association published an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aegpl.eu\/publications\/133-autogas-incentive-policies-2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a> of policies to promote the use of autogas in 25 countries, including <a href=\"https:\/\/v-gas.bg\/bulgarian-autogas-market-and-global-trends\/\">Bulgaria.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>At the end of last year, Liquid Gas Europe presented the advantages of LPG and bio propane-butane to advisors and members of the European Parliament.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>In December 2019, the Association launched the first phase of its campaign to improve air quality.
