On September 29, 2022, the regular emergency training for the V-Gas teams took place at our base in Benkovski. Almost all employees of the company took part in it – over 40 people. (See video here.) During the exercise, the V-Gas emergency team and the Plovdiv fire brigade conducted joint activities with the help of a fire engine. The training included simulating an accident – a leak at the auto-loader. In order to take timely action in a critical situation, the teams checked the functionality of the fire-fighting equipment and all available fire-fighting equipment. The employees demonstrated excellent emergency management skills. The following themes and actions were recalled: • Emergency action plan; • How to prevent a fire and control the possibility of obtaining an explosive mixture of LPG and oxygen; • How to use a fire extinguisher and an air-breathing bottle; • How to cool a pressure vessel; • What to protect against in case of fire; • How to evacuate in case of need.
