The prestigious business ranking “K100: The largest companies in Bulgaria 2022” reports the financial results of the past year of successful organizations in the country. Companies are ranked in separate sectors, such as: outsourcing, chains, fuels, energy, machinery and equipment, metallurgy, clothing and textiles, agriculture, software and fintech, construction, transport and others.

After its absence from the ranking in 2020, V-Gas entered the Top 25 of the Fuels sector, occupying 23rd place. The reason is reporting a nearly 55% increase in revenue in 2021, compared to the previous year. This growth is double the average for the Fuels sector, and it is above the average growth for all sectors of the Capital Top 100 ranking.
“The increased revenue and good financial results of “V-Gas Bulgaria” for 2021 are due not only to the increased prices of energy carriers but also to the increased demand for propane-butane as an ecological alternative to other fuels. Of course, the trust built in the company, the strict adherence to quality and safety policies and the hard work of the entire team are also essential factors determining our success in the past and current year,” commented Maya Blagoeva, Executive Director of V-Gas.
For 2021, V-Gas reports an 80% increase in domestic gas installation customers and double sales compared to 2020 (find out details here).
In the current year, the company skillfully responds to the challenges in the sector and continues to invest in improving and expanding the technical base, career development of personnel and optimization of services.
Capital’s analysts note an increase in the turnover of all companies in the Fuel sector. The main reason is the market recovery after the pandemic 2020, during which blocked borders, supplies and people crashed the price of oil and wiped billions from the turnover of companies in the sector. Leaders in the top ranking are Astra Bioplant, Lukoil Bulgaria and Saksa.
