Composite cylinders are supplied by the world leader in cylinder supply, Aburi Composites. Their capacity is 26.2 liters, equivalent to 12 kg of propane-butane. Their biggest advantage is that their universal size makes them suitable for all types of gas cylinders.
The bottles are also distinguished by the fact that they are:
- extremely lightweight (an empty cylinder weighs only 6.1 kg);
- easy to carry;

Composite cylinders offer numerous other advantages for both gas suppliers and end users—they are stronger and safer than conventional cylinders. In addition, their low energy production and reduced carbon footprint make them a more environmentally friendly and sustainable solution.

Fire test – the cylinder withstands more than 2 minutes in the fire and remains non-explosive, until the gas burns completely.
Heat stress test – the cylinder withstands 2000 hours at a temperature above 65 degrees Celsius.
Burst test – tests the pressure at which the cylinder will disintegrate and burst (>120 bar).
Extreme temperature test – the cylinder is tested at extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to +65 degrees Celsius.
Bullet test – the cylinder withstands a bullet shot without exploding or shattering.
Cyclic test – The cylinder is tested through 20,000 cycles at pressures ranging from 0 bar to 34 bar.
Penetration test – the cylinder is tested to ensure that natural penetration is below the specified limit.
Drop test – tests the strength of the cylinder when dropped from a height and falling at different angles of impact.
