On September 29, 2022, the regular emergency training for the teams of V-Gas was held at the GPS Benkovski. Almost all employees from the company took part in it – over 40 people.

During the exercise, the V-Gas emergency team and the Plovdiv Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate team carried out joint activities with the help of a fire truck.
The training included simulating an accident – a leak at the auto-unloading station. In order to take timely action in a critical situation, employees checked the serviceability of firefighting facilities and all available firefighting equipment. The teams demonstrated excellent preparedness for emergency response.
The following topics and actions were recalled and discussed:
- Plan for action in the event of an accident;
- How to prevent fire, control the possibility of obtaining a combustible mixture of LPG and oxygen;
- How to use a fire extinguisher and an air breathing cylinder;
- How does cooling a vessel under pressure;
- What to protect ourselves from in case of fire;
- How to evacuate in case of emergency.
