On October 23, 2024, the annual emergency drill and training took place at the V-Gas base in GPS Benkovski, which is part of our regular safety improvement program.

In addition to V-Gas employees, external consultants and the team of the Regional Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (RDFSCP) from Plovdiv also took part in the training. The training included various simulations and emergency response actions involving a fire truck.

The training included various demonstrations and practical tasks, with the main goal being to reinforce the team’s skills for quick and coordinated action in case of fire and other emergency situations.

The training began with a presentation of video materials on key topics related to emergency preparedness and safety. An important emphasis was placed on the mandatory use of antistatic and flame-retardant clothing for all those involved in emergency response operations.

One of the key practices during the training was working with a gun carriage used to cool the equipment. Each team had to follow instructions given by hand signals from the controller in the emergency headquarters. The exercise aimed to improve coordination and synchronization between teams when working in real conditions.

An expert consultant demonstrates the use of important protective equipment such as fire blankets and half-face masks with newly purchased a6> blanket and half-face mask with newly purchased filters. The use was explained and the application of breathing apparel, which was particularly useful for the technical units of the company.

At the end of the training, mechanics and drivers had the opportunity to use fire extinguishers to put out a simulated fire.

Emergency training is an integral part of our policy to maintain high safety standards. Every year, we invest in training our employees to ensure they are prepared to respond to emergency situations.
