Over 30 employees from all departments of V-Gas took part in it.
On April 20, we held a training session for our employees to remind them of the importance of following safe driving practices such as: wearing seat belts, keeping a safe distance, limiting speed, etc.
The training Safety Driving consisted of practical and theoretical parts. Those who completed the training acquired a range of practical skills, including developing appropriate responses in several key areas:
- Correct use of the steering wheel;
- Active acceleration and emergency braking;
- Simulator for re-tightening.
Our employees underwent:
CAR ROLLOVER SIMULATOR,
showing the need to use seat belts in both the front and rear seats.
USE OF ALCOHOL GLASSES,
simulating vision and balance when walking while under the influence of alcohol.
HEAD IMPACT SIMULATOR,
showing the importance of driving with increased caution and at an appropriate speed.
The theoretical part of the training included a motivational lecture focused on the attitude and behavior of drivers that create risks on the road. Participants learned about the anatomical, biomechanical, and physiological characteristics involved in choosing the correct seating position behind the wheel and working with it. Good practices that are extremely important for road safety were also discussed, related to:
- the challenges of the local road conditions;
- the effect of speed;
- vehicle safety systems;
- observation and perception of dangers;
- distraction, fatigue;
- specifics of roundabout traffic;
- road rage (how it happens and how to avoid and deal with it).
