On October 6, 2021, the regular annual emergency drill for the V-Gas team was held at the Benkovski gas processing station. All employees from the plant took part, as well as colleagues from the finance and sales departments, along with other company departments and key customers.

The emergency safety drill was conducted with the assistance of the Plovdiv fire department, which actively participated in the training with instructions, demonstrations, and tests of V-Gas equipment. An external lecturer enriched the employees’ knowledge of timely and correct actions in an emergency situation by conducting training on fire extinguishing with a powder fire extinguisher, as well as on working with a breathing apparatus in a gas cloud.
The exercise simulated an emergency situation resulting from a gas pipeline leak in the area of the railway line and the unloading station, which required firefighting and cooling of the available railway tanks.
